Meet Brian and Rebecca Dube

Brian and Rebecca are lifelong Acushnet residents where they live with their 3 children, Phineas, Emelia and Jolee, their two dogs and three pet ducks! Brian loves Jesus, people and being anywhere near the ocean.  He enjoys good coffee, reading and games. His favorite board game is "Codenames" and his favorite card game is "Pitch".  Rebecca enjoys spending time with family, working outside in the yard, paddle boarding and game night.

Brian currently serves as the Lead Pastor at CFC where he is primarily responsible for preaching and teaching. He works with the leadership team to make sure CFC is a place where the Holy Spirit continues to change lives through authentic, transparent, Christ-centered community.  Brian also volunteers as a chaplain with the New Bedford Police Department.  He is a graduate of Teen Challenge (2008) where he received ministerial credentials.   He has completed studies at Bristol Community Colllege, Global University and the AG Berean School of the Bible.  He is a certified Biblical Counselor, a certified Biblical Studies Teacher and holds an MA Degree with a focus on Urban Ministry Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. In addition, he is currently pursuing credentials with the Assemblies of God.

Rebecca co-leads the Children's Ministry, serves as a Youth Group Leader, and is part of the Worship Team. She earned her degree in Early Childhood Education. Meet Jamie and Stacey Casey

Jamie and Stacey reside in Dartmouth and enjoy serving together, traveling when possible, spending time with their children and their two dogs, Ellie and Peanut.

Jamie has been serving in church leadership for the past 10 years and has been pastoring since 2016.  He is one of the Associate Pastors at CFC where he oversees discipleship and community groups.  In this role, he helps to preserve the mission of “being and making disciples of Jesus.”  He also serves the local community as a consultant to a non-profit where he previously worked as the program director.   The organization serves people struggling with issues, such as addiction and homelessness.  Jamie is a Teen Challenge alumnus, attended Global University, Southern New England School of Ministry, and Gateway Theological Institute.  He is currently pursuing ministry credentials with the Assemblies of God.  His passion is to serve broken people and reach the lost with the hope only found in Jesus Christ.

Stacey serves as a deacon, helps with the nursery, and leads a women’s discipleship group.  She loves her career as a hairstylist at Joseph’s Hair Design in New Bedford.

Sam "Nacho" Bongiorno

Associate Pastor - Youth and Children

Sam has had the gift of eagle powers since birth.   He can put away tacos like nobody's business!  He loves Jesus, Fishing and Rachel but not in that order...
When he is not flying of off cliffs, he can likely be found hunting or gathering.   When asked for a comment, Sam said, "The children, I love the children.  They are my heart."

Meet Willy and Christina Rivera

William and Christina are New Bedford natives where they still reside along with their five children.  They are a family known for homeschooling and for fostering children.   They continue to serve in various ministries here at CFCNB.  They are both on staff and are part of the core leadership team.  William serves as an elder and our Outreach Coordinator.  Christina is the worship leader and oversees all aspects of the Worship Ministry. Together they also help people to get plugged in by walking with them through the church connection and volunteer process.

Cathy Ortiz

Administrative Assistant

Cathy "with a C, not a K", hails from the not so great state of Rhode Island but we still love her.  When she is not hanging with her Viking cats Thor and Odin, she is lounging around in her V-neck listening to the smooth sounds of Exile.
